In his paper, Nichols advocates the following five policy priorities for continued socio-economic prosperity: pursuing the Canada-US perimeter for a more efficient inter-organizational framework, pursuing trade diversification, re-tooling finance for innovation, expanding the Federal Skilled Worker Program to increase the number of immigrants admitted to Canada, and introducing Social Impact Bonds to encourage the delivery of more cost-efficient and effective social programs..
